Anthony DeSenzo is a First Senior Vice President/Market Executive located in Fairfield, NJ. Mr. DeSenzo is responsible for strategic development and market growth for the Region which includes Northern New Jersey & New York,. Mr. DeSenzo leads a team of commercial lenders and is responsible for all lending activities including new business development and portfolio management.
Anthony has been in banking for 33 years and has held several senior management positions in lending and underwriting. Immediately prior to joining First Bank, Mr. DeSenzo was Regional Director of Commercial Real Estate at Provident Bank. Prior to that, Mr. DeSenzo was Head of Commercial Bank/CLO at SB One Bank and Managing Director at Capital One Bank.
Mr. DeSenzo earned a Bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University where he majored in Marketing and minored in Finance. Mr. DeSenzo also hold a Master’s level Professional Certification from New York University in Commercial Real Estate. Mr. DeSenzo was honored as Banker of the Year for 2023 by the Petrucci Organization.
