Lisa PerezSVP/Director of Internal Audit

Lisa Perez serves as the SVP/Director of Internal Audit at First Bank. She is responsible for defining the scope and objectives of the internal audit activities, preparing and implementing a risk-based audit plan over the bank’s activities and internal controls based upon the bank’s strategy, risks, priorities, and provide suggestions for improved efficiencies, collaborate and communicate with stake holders, and ensure internal audit standards, policies and procedures are aligned with best practices and expectations of the stakeholders.

Lisa has been in banking for 30 years, almost all of which was spent in her current field. Prior to joining First Bank, Lisa held positions as a Senior Audit Manager at Cross River Bank (2023), Senior Audit Manager at Citizens Bank (2022), and various roles within the Investors Bank Internal Audit Department.

She is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Dominican College in Blauvelt NY.
