Ernest Springer

Ernest SpringerVP/Compliance Officer

Ernest Springer is the Vice President and Compliance Officer for First Bank. His primary responsibilities are ensuring that the Bank complies with all laws and regulations, and overseeing the function of the Bank's Compliance Program.

Mr. Springer has been in banking for over 35 years, with 24 of those years being in the current realm of Compliance. Prior to joining First Bank, Ernie was the Compliance Officer for Malvern Bank. Through his career, he has also held positions in compliance at Susquehanna Bank, Fulton Financial, and Sovereign Bank, as well as operations and audit roles at First Union Bank, Corestates Bank, and First Pennsylvania Bank.

Ernie earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Drexel University and has completed programs at ABA National Compliance School and Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Trust at Bucknell University.
