Parwinder VirkFSVP/Chief Accounting Officer

Parwinder S. Virk brings more than 20 years of experience in public and private accounting , including diverse community banking experience serving at various senior level positions. As the First Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, he is responsible for the preparation of the financial reports, assists in the management of the bank’s investment portfolio, and assists in the day to day operations of First Bank’s accounting and finance department.

Prior to joining First Bank, Parwinder was the Chief Financial Officer at First Commerce Bank based in Lakewood, New Jersey. Mr. Virk is a graduate of Rider University, New Jersey. He earned Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2002 and Master’s degree in Accounting in 2006. Mr. Virk obtained his CPA designation in 2006. Mr. Virk is also a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking and obtained Leadership diploma from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Virk has active memberships in AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and NJCPA (New Jersey Society of CPAs). He resides in Columbus, New Jersey with his wife and two sons.
